Lithuania

Pretty much in line with motorway signage elsewhere in the Baltics: fork sign at 500 meters, ID sign with distances and a simple arrow and then a reassurance sign. No exit number, at least not for the time being. The colour green is used for motorways, the blue background shows that the intersecting road is a non-motorway. Also note the bilingual references to Warsaw and Riga. In line with the recommendations of the Vienna Convention, towns have to be referred to in the "foreign" language (i.e. the language used in the town itself). Like many other European nations, however, Lithuania adds a transaction into its own language, so that towns outside of Lithuania are effectively mentioned double.
